Exhibition [Audio Mixing & Sound Design] (2025) Sound-Design for the exhibition OFF SCORE by artist Annika Kahrs which premiered at the Hamburger Bahnhof/Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart on November 13th 2025.
The sound-design made use of the Nous Sonic headphones which intelligently detect the position and direction of the person wearing them within the exhibition room, triggering different sounds and transitions depending on it. |
A Cashier's Opera
Short Film [Audio Mixing & Sound Design] (2025) Audio Mixing and Sound Design for the short film A Cashier's Opera by artist Annika Kahrs, Taking place in different shopping malls in the city of Berlin, the film is divided in 4 sections, with music being first driven by a string quintet, then by a nocturnal DJ, then by a teenage zombie choir and lastly by a soloist opera singer.

Les Fanfares
Short Film [Audio Mixing & Sound Design] (2025) Audio Mixing and Sound Design for the short film Les Fanfares by artist Annika Kahrs, Filmed in the Salle du Grand Conseil in Sion, this video brings together members of various Valais brass bands. It explores the close and complex historical relationship between these musical ensembles and local political parties. Looking beyond the Valais example, the work draws parallels with wider political dynamics and how these influence our lives today. The video installation is accompanied by an exhibition of research documents.

It stages a layered sound performance inside the church of St. Petri — where voices, birdcalls, triangle tones, and archival recordings turn the space into a resonating body. At its core: the voice of legendary ornithologist Ted Parker III, who identified over 4,000 bird species by ear. His recordings meet live sound and reflections from today’s ornithologists — in a poetic re-sounding of knowledge, memory, and disappearance.
